Ginger is a member of the Voltron Vehicle Force.She is also a member of the Air-sub Team.She,

Lisa ,and Cinda are the only other women on the Voltron Vehicle Force.She is the only woman on the Air-sub Team.She is nice and kind to all of the other Vehicle Force members.She appears to have a relationship with Jeff(of that force) more than friends.She operates the Falcon VT Fighter(#5)that forms the chest plate of that Voltron.
