Beta Traz is a maximum-security solitary prison specifically designed to hold the genius engineer Slav prisoner. It consists of three concentric levels, each with a different type of security, and is operated by the Warden.
The prison was operated by the Galra Empire and overseen by the Beta Traz Warden. It is used to hold Slav as well as the warden's pet yupper, Laika. Shiro, Lance, and Pidge infiltrate the prison to rescue Slav so he can assist in the plan to defeat Zarkon along with the Blade of Marmora.
