Queen Ariella was the first Queen of Arus in the Voltron: The Third Dimension series. Ariella first came to Arus from another planet when she was young and was found and raised by the five lions before they became Robot lions. Now deceased, she appeared to Allura as a spirit, much like her father, and revealed a way to recreate the five Lions after they had been destroyed. She explained that the five lions could never really be destroyed, as their spirits would always be with Arus.
